A 5500mAh battery is onboard the Xiaomi Max 3 to keep the lights on. Coming to the connectivity side of the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, it has you all covered with Dual VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0 LE with A2DP, GPS and more. Thankfully, the Mi Max 3 retains the good old headphone jack we all love. A fingerprint scanner and AI aided face unlock are available as biometric authentication options. The Mi Max 3 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI 9.5 out of the box.
Pricing and color options
As for pricing, the 4/64 GB and 6/128 GB variants of the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will set you back CNY1,699/approx. $252 and CNY1,999/approx. $300 respectively. The Mi Max 3 is available in Black, Blue and Champagne Gold paint jobs.
Design: I just don’t understand why are most of the OEMs impersonating the Apple iPhone X?
Design wise, up front the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 looks pretty much like any modern smartphone with an 18:9 screen. However, flip the Mi Max 3 and there you have it, as in there is no denying the fact that Xiaomi was only and only inspired by the “FruitPhone X” with the dead ringer being that vertical rear camera module design.
