Popular Chinese smartphone manufacturer has unveiled the Huawei Nova 3 in China. The Huawei Nova 3 features what looks like a glass-on-glass design. The phone features a 6.3 notched 18:5:9 Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340. The Huawei Nova 3 is powered by a Kirin 970 SoC coupled with a Mali G-72 MP12 GPU, 6GB of RAM (128 GB storage capacity). Of course, there is a dedicated MicroSD card slot (utilizes the SIM2 slot) present in the device that can handle cards of size up to 256 GB. A fingerprint scanner and Huawei’s iteration of face unlock are onboard the Huawei Nova 3.
Photography is handled by a dual camera setup at the rear featuring a 16MP (f/1.8 lens) + 24MP monochrome (f/1.7 lens) sensor combo assisted by a single LED flash and a 24MP + 2MP sensor combo shooter up front for the selfieholics. Speaking of which, all three cameras onboard have AI tricks up their sleeves such as background blur, face recognition, dynamic expression, and filters. A decent enough 3750 mAh battery is onboard the Huawei Nova 3to keep it ticking on and also the device is charged via the USB-C port to top it up. Coming to the connectivity side of the Huawei Nova 3, it has you all covered with Dual-band WI-FI 802.11 a/ b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2 LE with A2DP, GPS and more. Oh, and by the way, the device most likely features the good old headphone jack we all love. The Huawei Nova 3 runs on Android 8.1 based EMUI 8.2 out of the box.
Pricing and color options
As for pricing, The Huawei Nova 3 will set you back around CNY 2,999. The Nova 3 is available in Black, Blue, Purple and Gold paint jobs.
