Smartphones come in all shapes and sizes. So are the apps and games built for them. If you think only a graphic intensive game with a deep storyline can offer a great experience you are sadly mistaken. We have come to point where even games as small as few megabytes can break the internet. A great game is one that’s addictive. That’s why I recently tried some games and compiled a list of 6 most addictive Android devices.
Remember Flappy Bird? Even the developer would not have expected the kind of reception the game received. If there is anything we can learn from the whole Flappy Bird episode, it is that you don’t have a game weighs gigabytes to impress the crowd but it’s the user experience that matters. Today, we are presenting you 6 such very simple but extremely addictive Android games that will help you kill your extra time!
Duet – Addictive Game
Duet is one among the most simple yet extremely addictive android games available right now. It starts like any other game but as the level passes, you slowly loose yourself into the game. The rules are very simple – you have control two vessels (hence the name, duet) in sync and survive all the odds that are put against you. Sounds simple? Actually, it isn’t. This one is my personal recommendation. Download and immerse yourself into the game, you’ll love it. You’ll find Duet one of the most addictive Android games.[googleplay url=”https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kumobius.android.duet”/]
Crossy Road is another addictive Android game. It is one of those iOS exclusives that took a long time to come to Android. There was a lot of expectation for the game to debut on Android and once you play the game you’ll know why. Let me tell you this: there is nothing so special about this game but what it offers is a beautiful experience. The game is so well designed and an absolute pleasure to play. The rule is simple – you are supposed to cross the road without dying!
For anyone who is using Facebook, it is almost impossible to not have heard of this one. Almost every single YouTube video (made by Internet Artists) these days features this game. Reason? Well, Fortafy, one of the most famous Facebook Pages is the maker of Color Switch game and it seems like they are promoting the game in every way possible! I downloaded it and tried it and you know what? It is a great time killer. If you are easily bored, you are gonna love this one.[googleplay url=”https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.colorswitch.switch2″/]
The rules of Helix Jump are pretty simple – the ball jumps every time you tap the screen and the target is to reach the maximum height possible. Of course, you will be bombarded with all types of obstacles during every jump. Also, you can’t wait too long before making the jump or else the gravity will win! The game is ad-supported and a 0,50 Euros in-app purchase will remove the ads.[googleplay url=”https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.h8games.helixjump”/]
The Weaver is a uniquely designed puzzle game that is made with three things in mind: simplicity, elegance, and challenge. The game offers a very minimal but very gorgeous user experience. You are in no rush to solve the puzzles so you can just sit back, relax and take your time to solve the puzzles. The game is completely based on rows and columns. It’s kind of hard (and a bit confusing) to explain the rules of this game. Download and see for yourself! The Weaver is really an addictive Android game.
Does Not Commute
You might have tried a lot of driving games but let me assure you, you have seen nothing like this. The rule of the game is that you have to drive a car, van or a bike from one point to another in a given amount of time. But that’s not all – you have to avoid a crapload of traffic to keep moving forward. Does Not Commute is easily one of the best strategy games available for Android. This one’s on the Google Play Editor’s choice which says a lot about the quality of this game. Do give this one a try![googleplay url=”https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mediocre.commute”/]
