  5. This update is only suitable for the VERIZON razr maxx or it can be used for any carrier? (In my case “oi” in Brazil).

  6. If you get it aborted its because your phones rooted and you modified your os you have to downlaod razr utility 1.82 and do a ap fastboot and restore it to stock ice had same problem

  7. my razr maxx is already running 6.16.211 it is an 4.0.4 version i have the same issue install aborted

  8. I’m using the Verizon Razr MAXX. I didn’t have a MicroUSB cable handy, so I went through the tedious process of moving it to Google Drive, and then saving it for offline use on my phone, locating it using a File Manager, and then moving it to my SD Card. Would this process corrupt the file, or would it be a matter of the initial download on my desktop corrupting it?

  9. Hmm. I think this is the case of a corrupt update.zip.

And the update file is only for Verizon Droid RAZR MAXX. Will not work with Droid RAZR.

  10. When I try to install the .zip, I get this:

    –Install /sdcard …
    Finding update package …
    Opening update package …
    Verifying update package …
    E:signature verification failed
    Installation aborted.

Any ideas why this might be happening and/or how I can circumvent this?
