How to Root AT&T HTC One M8 and Install TWRP on It

DJ | 03 Apr 2014 | HTC/ Root

Root AT&T HTC One M8

We have already offered our readers with guides to Root and Install Custom Recovery on almost all the HTC One M8 variants including GSM, Verizon, and Sprint. Another variant that needs some light is the AT&T one. The HTC One M8 by AT&T holds the same configuration of Snapdragon 801 Quad-Core 2.3 GHz Krait processor, Dual-back camera, a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 1080p display with the latest Sense UI 6 based on KitKat 4.4.2. The carrier may have bounded, yet the developers at XDA show no mercy, following the old “Root everything!” ritual.

Through the means of this guide, we’re gonna help you easily install TWRP and root AT&T HTC One M8 using Chainfire’s SuperSU rootkit. We present our gratitude to JMZ for bringing us the latest TWRP for the AT&T HTC One M8. The process is way too simple and requires a bit of command prompt (CMD) knowledge, otherwise, everything else is pretty basic. Even if you’re unfamiliar with the CMD, our guide is clear enough to guide you through it.

Seems like they deleted the twrp for at&t for some reason? The link is dead and it’s not in the list on their website. I know this article is 7 months old but any ideas/alternatives?
