Samsung will be blessing the original Galaxy Note GT-N7000 with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean or the Premium Suite Upgrade very soon. Well, this is not actually a new information. We have seen at least two versions of the leaked test firmware for the device in the past and both were on Android 4.1.2. And now, Samsung has officially confirmed that the Galaxy Note will be soon getting features like Multi-window, Pop-up Note, Pop-up Video, Photo Note, Paper Artist, Page Buddy, Easy clip, Handwriting on S Planner/ Email, enhanced S Note, Google Now, new Notification Panel, and more.
If you have this original Samsung phablet, stick with it for some more time and get ready for some Jelly Bean adventure.

My N7000 automatically started on OS upgrade today. It’s been about 3 hours now, and I still have the Android Robot screen saying Downloading… Do not turn off target!! Should it be taking this long?
I currently have JB 4.1.2 on my gt-n7000 with OTA support. But when I tried to update I get a message saying my phone is not eligible for update.
I am unlocked and rooted. What will I have to install on my gt-n7000 in order to get samsung’s new JB premium update?
Will I have to go back to Gingerbread stock, or ICS stock?

The JB update is not available yet. I will come in a week hopefully and then you can download the whole firmware and install it using Odin. So you need not go back to GB or ICS. We will be one of the first to post the firmware, so stay tuned.
