If you’re not ready to upgrade to the Redmi Note 8 Pro yet want to make your device look like it, you can download Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro wallpapers.

Note 8 Pro Specifications

The Note 8 Pro features a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with FullHD+ resolution. It has a max brightness of 500 nits. We do have high hopes for the new chipset on the device since MediaTek claims the Helio G90T is a gaming-oriented CPU. This CPU would be paired with 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM options with 64GB and 128GB storage variants respectively.

Under the hood, we get a respectable 4,500mAh battery. We do expect the device to deliver at least a full day of battery life with moderate to heavy usage. It would also support 18W fast-charging, however, we’ll have to wait and see if Xiaomi includes the 18W fast charger in the box.

The device has a quad-camera setup towards the rear of the device. This consists of a 64 MP, f/1.9 Primary Sensor + 8 MP, f/2.2, Ultra Wide-Angle Lens + 2 MP, f/2.4, Macro Lens + 2 MP, f/2.4, Depth Sensor. On the front, there is a 20 MP, f/2.0, Selfie camera.

Note 8 Pro Pricing in India

Xiaomi has not revealed the pricing details of the Redmi Note 8 Pro for the Indian market. However, the device is priced at 1,399 yuan in China which roughly translates to Rs. 14,000 ($200). After taxes and import duties, the Redmi Note 8 Pro might launch at around Rs. 15,000 in India.

The company had earlier claimed that the Redmi Note 8 Pro would launch by the end of October. Now that the company has announced the launch date in India, what are your thoughts on Xiaomi’s powerful budget smartphone?
