Companies like LG, Sony, HTC, were already not making money from Android smartphones before the rise of the Chinese brands. But when brands like Xiaomi stepped into the Indian market, in gaming terms, they absolutely destroyed these big names. Now LG wants to get back at them with the LG W10 and LG W30. Whether they can or not, you can get your hands on LG W10 and LG W30 stock wallpapers right now.
To be fair, LG isn’t the only big name realizing this. Samsung, having lost the number 1 spot to Xiaomi and then to OnePlus in the premium segment had also realized pricing it right is very important in the Indian Market. Samsung is trying again with India exclusive lineups, focused at providing a bang for the buck. The LG W10 and LG W30 are similar attempts from the other Korean giant.
LG W10 and LG W30 Specifications
The LG W10 might be a new smartphone but with the wide iPhone-like notch it already looks dated. Even phones cheaper than the LG W10 come with smaller notches, some even water-drop notches. Like most cheaper phones, it is made of a reflective unibody plastic shell. It’s of course not as scratch resistant as glass. The back of the phone is rounded along the edges making it easier to hold.
LG provides the device in two colors: Tulip Purple and Smokey Grey. The dual camera array is horizontally aligned on the left along with an LED flash. The LG logo sits just at the bottom and the fingerprint scanner is right where you’d expect. The notch on the front houses the front camera, proximity, earpiece, and an ambient light sensor.
The left edge of the device has separate volume keys and on the right is the Power button. On the bottom is a micro USB 2 .0 charging port, a speaker grill, and the headphone jack. The Dual SIM tray with a dedicated MicroSD slot is at the top. The rather big chin at the bottom is also very noticeable. In fact, the device looks very much like the Poco F1.
The LG W30 is the more premium of the two phones and it shows in the size of its notch. It sports a much smaller water-drop notch at the front giving it a more modern look than the wide notch on the LG W10. The plastic back has a combination of color gradient and a pattern made with ridges which looks more attractive. Color options include Thunder Purple, Platinum Grey, and Aurora Green.
The SIM tray is again on the top and accepts two nano-SIMs and a microSD card. The Volume rockers are also on the left with the Power button being on the right. All the ports are at the bottom, include the Micro-USB port, 3.5mm headphone jack, microphone, and the speaker grill.
On the back is a triple camera set up with a red ring highlighting the primary camera just like on the Poco F1. The cameras are aligned horizontally along the left with the LED flash. The fingerprint reader is placed as usual with the LG logo on the bottom.
They pack the same processor, are offered in the same RAM and storage variants, have the same battery capacity, the same Android version, etc. The LG W10 and LG W30 do differ in the display size, rear and front cameras, and of course the body size and weight.
