Honor, the Chinese telecommunication giant Huawei’s sub-brand debuted the Honor 20i in India last month. The smartphone is mid-grade and so it features the Kirin 710 SoC and triple camera system. Honor 20i: An Honored deal!

The All new Honor 20i employs a 6.21″ IPS LCD panel. The resolution of the panel is Full HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels). As expected, the aspect ratio of the water-drop notched display is 19.5:9. As for display protection, we are not entirely sure if the Honor 20i comes fitted with Corning Gorilla Glass.
Task processing is done by the in-house Kirin 710 SoC which is a mid-range chipset aided by a fine enough for 2019 4GB of RAM. The internal storage capacity of the Honor 20i is 128GB. As is the case with most if not all Androids, the internal memory can be expanded by a dedicated Micro SD card slot (max. 1TB).
Today, no smartphone is complete without biometric authentication. As in, the Honor 20i comes embedded with a fingerprint scanner at the rear.
Camera system
The Honor 20i comes equipped with three cameras at the rear. We do have a primary 24MP shooter that features a good f/1.8 aperture. Next, there’s an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera. And finally, the camera show is concluded by a 2MP depth-sensing camera.

The rear and front cameras can record videos at a resolution of up to Full HD @ 60 fps and again Full HD but @ 30fps respectively.
Power, connectivity and Android OS
An adequate 3400 mAh battery powers up the Honor 20i. Shockingly, the outdated Micro-USB port is onboard the Honor 20i for charging at 10W and data transfers. Inclusion of a USB-C port by Huawei would have been great considering we’re more than half-way towards 2020.
Coming to the connectivity, it has you all covered with Dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0 LE. GPS is available for navigation and location-based services. A 3.5mm headphone jack is onboard too, in case you all forgot about this piece of hardware.
The Honor 20i comes pre-installed with Android 9.0 Pie based EMUI 9.0 off the factory.

The Honor 20i is available via Online retailer Flipkart where it retails for INR 14,999 (at the time of composing this article). The Honor 20i is available in colors namely Phantom Blue and Midnight Black.
