Vivo had launched the upgraded version of the popular Vivo V5 smartphone as the Vivo V5S Plus. Also, this smartphone was launched as a part of the celebration of the company’s official sponsorship deal with Indian Premier League. It was announced earlier that Vivo would be a two-year official sponsor of the IPL.

Thus, the company launched the smartphone with IPL’s theme and wallpapers to celebrate this announcement. The smartphone has the same internals as the Vivo V5 Plus as it has a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels at a PPI of 267 pixels per inch. Apart from that, the smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor and it comes with 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage onboard.

The camera on the smartphone is a 13-megapixel primary camera on the back with a 20-megapixel front camera. The smartphone has been launched with a 3000mAh non-removable battery and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
