Besides owning the Motorola Mobility, Lenovo also owns another sub-brand named ZUK and it has recently (the last month) released a new smartphone called the ZUK Edge. The name of the phone may make an impression of a device with a dual-curved display like the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge but the ZUK Edge doesn’t have that. The device has been launched in China and will make its way to other markets in the coming months.
The ‘Edge’ in the name of the phone probably comes from its edge to edge display and very thin side bezels with a large screen covering 86.4 percent of the body.
As for the other hardware specifications, the Lenovo ZUK Edge features a 5.5-inch full HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 Quad-core processor, 4/6 GB RAM, 64 GB internal storage, 13 MP primary and 8 MP selfie camera, front-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a non-removable Li-Ion 3100 mAh battery. On the software front, the ZUK Edge comes with Android 7.0 Nougat with Lenovo’s ZUI 2.5 on the top of it. The phone also comes with USB Type-C port and supports Quick Charge 3.0.
