Features of Snapdragon 635

Snapdragon 835 optimizes Audio Processing, provides better Video and Photos and enhances Colors in VR applications

With rendering power increased by 25% and latency reduced by 20% in comparison with Snapdragon 820, color space has also been increased by 60%. This also enhances colors in VR application. Besides, color enhancement audio processing has also seen a significant improvement with features like scene and object specific sound and DSD (Direct Stream Digital) audio.

Qualcomm has also brought stabilized 4K videos on all devices with the updated Electronic Image Stabilization 3.0 (EIS 3.0). This should improve the Zoom, tilting, angle correction and rolling shutter features your smartphone camera (this would significantly improve videos and photos experience). The new focus system in Snapdragon 835 will reduce picture noise, increase the dynamic range and sharpness of a photo.

Snapdragon 835 is Efficient and Smaller in Size

Besides being more efficient Snapdragon 835 is also smaller by up to 30% when compared to Snapdragon 820. This creates more space for larger batteries thus increase in battery power.

Snapdragon 835 Consumes Less Battery

Power consumption in Snapdragon 835 will be lower by about 10% when compared to Snapdragon 820. This will lead to a significant improvement in battery life. According to Qualcomm, we will also get Quick Charge 4.0 which means we can easily get 5 hours of battery life by just 5 minutes charging.

Some other innovations in Snapdragon 835 are 802.11 ad Wi-Fi, 4x carrier aggregation, and a 66% more efficient LTE modem.

After hearing these specifications, we are sure you want your hands on Snapdragon 835. Just wait till Qualcomm launches it in one of the top smartphones of 2017.
