Well, after seeing the Huawei watch which was unveiled at IFA 2015, you’d definitely dig Huawei watches range for your next smartwatch. The Huawei smartwatch has grabbed a lot of attention at the IFA 2015 event, the design alone speaks style in this regard. Speaking of the style, the Huawei smartwatch is considered the luxurious smartwatch in the market currently.
Huawei announced its first smartwatch earlier this year at the MWC event but this is the Official unveiling. A total of six models were announced at the event which comes with stainless steel, black and rose-gold plated bodies. The metallic design and the round dial reflect the premium design and materials used in the device. You can also chose from a variety of bands made out of rubber, leather, stainless steel and one with golden platter.
The Huawei watch features a 1.4 inch AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 400×400 pixels and 286 ppi pixel density. The screen is protected by a sapphire glass with a diameter of 42mm, just similar to Apple watch. The watch is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset, 512MB RAM and 4GB storage. It also packs a horde of sensors including heart rate monitor, motion sensor, gyroscope and accelerometer. This whole package is backed up by a 300 mAh battery.
The watch runs Android Wear OS v1.3 and is compatible with all Android devices with Android 4.3 or later. Another noticeable features is that the Huawei smartwatch support iPhone with iOS 8.2 and later making it one of the few early Android wear devices to officially support iPhone.
The pricing starts at $349 for Stainless steel body and leather band, $399 for stainless steel body with steel bracelet or steel mesh. The $449 model would have black DLC-coated stainless steel body with black-plated link bracelet. The $699 model will come with a Rose Gold-plated stainless steel body with alligator pressed brown leather. The premium model comes at $799 which comes with Rose Gold-plated stainless steel body and Rose Gold-plated link bracelet band.
The Huawei watch will be available for pre-orders via GetHuawei.com, Google Store, Amazon.com and BestBuy.com and the shipping starts from September 17 in the US. Other markets might have to wait some more time to grab this luxurious watch
