Samsung continue to surprise its customers with its Android updates to their galaxy devices. Samsung has rolled out the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update and this time its Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Earlier, Samsung pushed an update for its flagship phones Samsung Galaxy S6 and that from the Note series, Samsung Note 5. Now, the Note 4 users can enjoy the latest firmware from Samsung. The Stock firmware from Samsung are so intriguing and packed with tons of features, that the users do not even need to further tweak or mod their Samsung handsets to set new features.
Finally after almost two months since Samsung first rolled out the update in Russia, the update has been released all across Europe. The update comes with the built version number N910FXXU1COH4. In some areas like Austria, Sweden and Italy, Galaxy Note 4 users have already received the updated over-the-air (OTA) last weekend. However, some parts may also require Samsung Kies software to download and install the updates. Samsung Kies is an official tool provided by Samsung for its devices for updates and connectivity with the PC.
Most Samsung Note 4 users across the continent can expect the OTA updates popping in the notification panel in the next few days. If not, then sure check your Note 4 by connecting to Samsung Kies tool for any updates. However, make sure you have not made any changes to the OEM product like unlocking bootloader, root etc as this may result in not detecting the OTA updates for your device.
The update brings some useful features and tweaks that the users may be expecting. The update also consists of some performance and stability updates for the Note 4. A similar Android Lollipop update has been seen pushed by the US carrier Sprint for its Sprint variant of Note 4. However, if you have not received any updates via OTA or Samsung Kies software then you can also verify the latest available firmware for your Note 4 variant and download it from SamMobile’s firmware website by inputting your model number in the search bar.
