Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer that has been operating in India for the past 3 years launched the latest smartphone in the Xiaomi Redmi series of the smartphone this year which was the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. However, the company has now launched the Xiaomi Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus in China. The Redmi 5 Plus from Xiaomi is rumored to be launched in India as the successor to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 but the smartphone will be named as the Redmi 5 rather than Redmi Note 5.
Now, the smartphone comes with a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display which has a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and has an edge to edge display same as the flagship smartphones launched in 2017. Apart from that, the smartphone has a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. Also, the smartphone comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded further up to 128GB via MicroSD card.
In the camera department, the smartphone has a 12MP rear camera which is a single sensor whereas the smartphone has a 5MP camera on the front. The smartphone runs on the Android 7.1.2 Nougat along with a battery capacity of 4000mAh which is also a non-removable one.
