CoolPad is one of the most popular smartphone OEMs in China and the company has now been looking for expansion in price-sensitive markets, especially in the Asian countries. It’s really a tough ordeal for any new company to establish itself in the smartphone market which is already flooded with options in low to high price ranges.
The Coolpad Dazen X7 is another serious attempt by the company to win a respectable share in the price-sensitive market. The Dazen X7 is priced at $270 and offers some decent hardware specs. The phone has a glass body with metal edges on all sides that give it a premium look. The build quality is good and the size is ideal and so the phone feels sturdy and palm-friendly.
The Dazen X7 features a 5.2-inch full HD display with a pixel density of 441ppi and is powered by the Mediatek MT6595M octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz. The phone has a 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 32 GB using the microSD card slot. As for the camera, the Coolpad Dazen X7 houses a 13 MP rear sensor and primary shooter and an 8 MP camera for good quality selfies. The phone has a 2700mAh non-removable battery.
The Dazen X7 may not be a very impressive smartphone even for the price it comes at but the device comes with some really beautiful looking and colorful stock wallpapers that are 55 in number.
The Coolpad Dazen X7’s CoolShow stock wallpapers are full HD in quality but they have different resolutions. out of 55, 28 wallpapers are in 2160 x 1920 px resolution while the rest of them in portrait style with 1080 x 1920 px resolution.
