It was on August 22, if I precisely remember, that I posted a theme called The Boss HD Theme for MIUI V4. That theme a very rough imitation of the famous iPhone theme developed by FIF7Y. Here is another theme with Boss icons with better design and finish. The theme is made by a French theme-maker named Ptidav44. On the base of it you can easily smell the Echo V4 Black and Blue theme by Echoside from XDA. Besides, there are other influences too, especially the Jaku theme for the iOS.
As with most themes posted at Droidviews.com, this theme two has been heavily modded and translated from Italian to English by me. In the original version, there was a Boss blank icon image behind the Sense clock n the lockscreen. I have removed that and added the glassy background that you can see in the screenshots. Moreover, I have also translated the French texts on the weather widget. So now we have a beautiful lockscreen theme with the animated weather. When you have a missed call or a new unread message, you will see a red animation with fading effect. As for the icons, I can say that these are one of the most beautiful icons made for a mobile device, irrespective of OS. The use of boss icons on the file manager category UI and settings make the theme more eye-catchy.
Boss iOS Theme for MIUI also features two beautiful clock widgets: an analog clock, and a digital clock that looks like a modified version of the Samsung Galaxy S3 weather widget.
Instructions to Use:
- Download the theme and copy the mtz file to MIUI/Theme folder and apply from Theme Manager
- The lockscreen weather widgets require the 9S Weather app installed and configured on your device to show weather widget.
- While the clock weather widget on the homescreen fetches weather data from Google News and Weather (Genie Weather) app. So you also need to install this app on your device.
