If you own an Android phone, tablet or both, there are endless ways to customize it. You could install a custom mod or ROM if your device is rooted, or you can just use widgets to make your phone’s homescreen, and now lockscreen too, look awesome. The Google Play Store is stuffed with apps that come packed with beautiful widgets to beautify your device. Apps like Ultimate Custom Widget (UCCW) can let you design your own clock widget.
Despite this great surge of clock widget apps, there always seems to be a space for another and more such apps. 3D Retro Flip Clock is an excellent clock app with premium feel at free of cost. It has been designed especially for Android devices with Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean. The app offers a lot of features like lockscreen widget, Daydream support, night mode, alarms, stopwatch, world clock, reminders, notifications, and most of all homescreen clock widgets.
The developer has used HD graphics in the making of the app and the visual 3D simulation and animations make it look greater. The quality of graphics do not let the widget look dull or blurry even on phones with HD and Full HD displays and tablet devices. All clock widgets are resizable and have 11 skins with different designs. However, there is only one widget that shows time, date and month. I wish it had some more variants! The app has some nice Settings options for customization and you can access enter it by tapping the 3 dot menu icon from within the app.
3D Retro Flip Clock has amazing fancy animation effects. I like the way the clock shows fast animation when you tap on the widget. You can add the flip clock widget by tapping and holding the homescreen and selecting add Widgets option. On Nexus and Samsung devices, you can access the widgets screen by tapping on the app drawer button and then by selecting “Widgets”.
As a free app that does not show any irritating ads and has so many features, 3D Retro Flip Clock is an awesome deal. Set on a wooden background, it looks so cool! Must try this app if you do not wish to miss a good one.
