Android is known for the custom development activities round it. There is a very large and active community which contributes to its development. Actually, the immense possibilities of customization is the most alluring things about this most popular OS. Its open source nature lets developers and users do various types of things like acquiring root access, optimize its performance, and modify its elements.

Because tasks rooting and flashing also have the risk factor inherent to them, sometimes you might end up in a bootloop, or have to format your device, have to flash the stock ROM back on to it. Tools like ADB (Android Debug Bridge) and Fastboot play a vital role in performing different tasks on your device. The users who have just stepped in to the Android environment or those who are not so geeky or do not have so much time to spend on such things, find it really hard to use ADB and Fastboot.
