Android - Best Download Manager Apps - Droid Views

The Internet today is not what it was 10 years ago. It has come a long way, there’s no denying that. There are many uses for the internet. You can setup a website for your business, you can run a website, use it to learn almost anything without leaving your bed, watch any movie or tv show you want, etc. But among all the things people do on the internet, downloading stuff from it is arguably the one thing that almost everyone does.

With major advancement in smartphone space, the mobile internet speeds have skyrocketed in the past decade. Almost everyone has a smartphone and more data is being consumed than ever. We constantly download stuff like books, songs, TV shows, movies, games, videos (yeah, right ;)) every day. Just like for PC, even Android has many download managers and we have put together a list of best 5 out of them all. Check them out below:

1. Loader Droid download manager

Among all the download managers available for Android, this one is my favorite. I have been using this for at least 4 years now and it consistently delivers all the time. The app is very small in size and very easy to use.

Some of its features are:

  • Built-in browser for easier capturing of download links
  • Resumable downloads
  • Faster downloading by splitting the download into parts
  • Intercept links from your Android Browser and other applications
  • Auto pause/resume when the connection is lost/gained
  • Ability to select on which connection download is allowed (Mobile Data/Wi-fi/etc)

Get it from Google Play Store by clicking below:

2. Advanced Download Manager

Advanced Download Manager is a simple yet powerful download managers for Android. It can download upto 3 files simultaneously. There is an option to save the files of different formats in different folders and you can pause/resume the downloads whenever you wish (provided the source supports resumable downloads). 3. Download All Files

Download All Files is one among the most famous download managers available for Android; it has been downloaded over 15 million times! One of the key features of this app is that it catches the download links from almost all the famous browsers like Chrome, Dolphin, Firefox etc and it works with all the file formats.ย It is important to note that this app cannot download any YouTube videos due to Google’s guidelines on the same.

4. Download Manager for Android

Download Manager for Android is another free app which supports downloading almost all file types. As per the developer, this app can even download videos from facebook which is pretty neat if you ask me. This app also comes with an inbuilt browser. There is also a built in file manager and media player to view/play the downloaded files. If you think about it, this app offers the functionality of three apps – a download manager, a file manager, a media player! Some people might see this as a useful feature while other might think that the app is too cluttered. Depends on how you see it! Get the app from Google Play Store by clicking below:

5.ย Download Blazer

One of the key features of Download Blazer is that it can seamlessly integrate with almost all leading browsers (except of Opera and Opera mini because of the way they are coded). The app is very simple and easy to use without too many distractions. Do keep in mind that this app cannot download YouTube videos. All the other features of a typical download manager – such as resumable downloads, speeding up download through multiple connections, etc – are present as well. Check it out on Google Play Store by clicking below:
