Chrome-Beta-for-Android

Lately, we posted Chrome Beta for Android Version 25.0.1364.47 Gives Access to Experimental Features and so we do assume that you have already updated.

This new jewel was updated with an aim to offer the users with Experimental features, which are still in development. While most of the casual users might not have updated considering the features to  be experimental but now we do recommend you to do so, certainly the question is “why?”. And so we do have an answer to it, this is because not only the experimental features like chrome flags support was offered but it also incorporates an hidden feature! Well, the feature  is “Full-Screen Browsing”. You might have experienced this feature in third party browsers like Opera, Dolphin etc and now it is here in Chrome too. Running a browser and turning over pages in full-screen is actually worth as it improves the readability and makes it look much cleaner. Google is really bringing some serious amendments to its Chrome for Android, now you feel it too, right?

The feature was first captured and reported by Smackel (Reddit), we are undoubtedly thankful to him.

Follow the below guidelines to enable full-screen browsing on your Android device running Android 4.0+

  1. Download Chrome Beta for Android from the Play Store link at the end of this post or click here for direct download.
  2. Tap on the address bar and type:
    chrome://flags/
  3. Enable WebGL
  4. Go to the Boids and Buildings Chrome Experiment page
  5. Click on the “Launch Experiment” button
  6. Click on “Run”
  7. You are now on full-screen and can close this page

Enjoy full screen browsing on your Chrome Beta for Android!

Please note that this is not yet a feature officially introduced, or even if this a feature or a bug. If any announcements are made from Google and its developers, we will let you know. Until then, experience one of the coolest features that Chrome may offer in its future builds.
