If you happen to be a Galaxy S3 owner from India, you have another good reason to smile this festive season. Samsung has finally rolled out Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy S3 as a gift of Deeepawali for Indian users. Samsung started rolling JB update for S3 back in October for Europe and U.S. And now it has arrived to India. This Android 4.1.1 build XXDLJ5 firmware is a completely unbranded firmware and can be installed on all Galaxy S3 devices from any country (except China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, etc.).

The official Jelly Bean update with baseband version I9300DDDLJ1 will bring a lot of new features such as enhanced TouchWiz UX to give users an improved and more responsive experience. Moreover, it will add some new features to the phone’s camera, pop-up play with adjustable size, Google Now, and improved notifications center.

Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update for Indian users is now available via Kies and OTA (over the air) and is 290 MB in size. You can check the availability of this firmware on your device: Settings> About Device> Software Update. The updated JB firmware for SGS3 India can also be downloaded in a zip file that can be flashed via the Odin.
