A new update has been pushed by Samsung to it’s Galaxy Tab 3 Lite device just last month. Although it’s not a KitKat or Lollipop firmware update, it brings lots of security and bug fixes to the ROM. Stability improvements can also be seen with this firmware. It is an October 15th build with firmware number OJ1. If you have not received the update over the air, then here is a chance of getting your device to the latest build.

The listed firmware comes with the build number T111XXUAOJ1. However, you can also find carrier or country based firmware listed in the download section.

Moreover, if for any reason you have installed a custom ROM or have heavily modified the firmware, then you must restore the firmware to stock, in order to receive future updates from Samsung. This guide can also be used to restore your Samsung Tab 3 Lite 7.0 3G – SM-T111 variant to stock Android 4.2.2 Jellybean firmware.
